In Scrum, you’ll find roles and events, but also 5 essential values. Can you name them?
I have a mnemonic to help remember them: together, these values form the word “FORCE”.
The F stands for Focus: teams concentrate on achieving the Sprint Goal.
The O stands for Openness: encouraging honest and transparent communication.
The R stands for Respect: collaborating effectively despite our differences.
The C stands for Courage: making difficult decisions and addressing problems.
And the E stands for Engagement (Commitment): working together to achieve the team’s objective.
These values give Scrum its strength through collaboration, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
And what about you? Which of these Scrum values do you find the most difficult to apply in your daily work?
