In previous articles, I talked about the Agile Manifesto and its four values.
But what would it look like if we created an Agile Anti-Manifesto?
It would look something like this:
Processes and tools over individuals and interactions
Comprehensive documentation over working software
Contract negotiation over customer collaboration
Following a plan over responding to change
It sounds completely absurd, and that’s exactly why I’m introducing the idea of an Agile Anti-Manifesto.
As agilists, we are so used to the Agile Manifesto that sometimes reading it backwards gives it a whole new meaning.
And in your organization, are you more manifesto or anti-manifesto?
