In 2025, I earned the PSM III certification, the highest level offered by Scrum.org.
For me, it took more than a year of preparation, with several steps and certifications along the way to get ready.
What really helped me improve was being part of a weekly study group.
Every week, for 90 minutes, we would answer a question in writing, then compare our perspectives.
It was enriching, motivating, and it helped me take a step back and challenge my own ideas.
Exam day? It’s intense:
24 open-ended questions in 2 hours and 30 minutes. You need to be clear, structured, and fast.
My advice: practice writing a complete answer in under 5 minutes.
For example:
“Why is the Daily Scrum important, and why must it happen every day?”
Write your answer in the comments, I’ll let you know what I think!
And you? Ready for the PSM III?
