The 4 Values of the Agile Manifesto

In my previous article on “The Manifesto for Agile Software Development”, I mentioned that it is made up of 4 key values.

Do you know these 4 values? Let’s go through them together today.

Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
Because at the end of the day, it’s people who move projects forward, not filling out a Jira board.

Working software over comprehensive documentation
What matters is delivering value, not writing endless pages.

Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
We’re building a product together, not just a contract.

Responding to change over following a plan
If what we’re doing no longer makes sense, we stop, instead of continuing for nothing.

These four values are the compass of Agile: keep people at the center, deliver quickly, collaborate, and stay flexible.

And for you, which value is the most important?
