You’ve probably already heard about Agility in the workplace, but do you really know what it means?
Did you know there’s actually an Agile Manifesto?
The “Manifesto for Agile Software Development” was written in February 2001 by 17 experts who gathered in Utah, USA.
Their goal was to simplify, humanize, and speed up software development by keeping only the best practices they had seen in their companies.
This manifesto is built around four key values and twelve principles that guide every Agile team in their daily work.
If we just focus on the values, they are statements that prioritize one thing over another.
The Manifesto revolutionized software creation by putting collaboration, flexibility, and continuous delivery of value at the heart of projects. Today, it serves as the foundation for many frameworks, such as Scrum.
